The Chicago School of Professional Psychology kicks-off their 2010 Career Fest featuring career search specialist, speaker and author Orville Pierson in a keynote presentation open to CTC clients and coaches. Orville is the author of The Unwritten Rules of the Highly Effective Job Search (McGraw-Hill), and Highly Effective Networking: Meet the Right People and Get a Great Job (Career Press). He is Senior Vice President, Corporate Director of Program Design and Service Delivery for Lee Hecht Harrison (LHH), a $200 million career services company with 240 offices worldwide. A light lunch reception and book signing will follow with copies of both books available for purchase (Job Search $20 and Networking $15 - cash only). For professionals seeking to connect for greater confidence and results in their networking efforts. The Networking Coach, Wendy McCormick, will assist CTC clients and the public with proven methods for success and enjoyment. Our goal is to provide a forum for networking questions and tips as well as facilitated sessions for practice and connection. The group will meet twice monthly once during the day and once in the evening. This program is open to the public.

Join us for lunch and discussion the first Thursday of each month, February - June led by Kate Mulcahy, Entrepreneurship Coach and founder, INNOVATION IN CAREER AND COMPANY. Together, we will explore: what it means for you independently or as employee/manager, to be a discoverer of new ideas and how the skills of innovation and entrepreneurship can be developed. Monthly conversations are an opportunity for participants to stretch and open their minds through content, conversation and connection. Whether you seek inspiration or need to find innovation information or support, this will be a great source. Cost of each luncheon session is $15 and includes lunch.
