Transition can be stressful with financial concern, navigating challenges, questions and future uncertainty. There's help in managing the stress associated with search. Basic stress management technique along with good self care can help you persevere, lighten your worries and bring greater positive energy to the tasks of the job search process . The second Monday morning of each month, Mary Holmquist will offer 10 minute chair massages to CTC clients with discussion of effective ways to alleviate some of the stress and anxiety of work transition. Mary is a licensed massage therapist.

There is no charge to CTC clients. Advanced reservation is necessary. Sign up sheets are available in the front office at the CTC Business Center to schedule an appointment.

Job transition has the power to crack us open and send us reeling. It is an experience that can blister the spirit but can unleash a great creative force that helps us progress in our work and lives.The two-day retreat benefits persons of all ages, faiths, and work experience. Participants come to understand stages of transition, examining the spiritual and emotional stages of work and change. For more than a decade, Finding Work Without Losing Heart has helped thousands in their search for meaningful work.

Participation limit is 64 persons. However there are only 40 rooms with Air Conditioning - which will be assigned to the first 40 registrants. All rooms have fans.
