It takes a good plan and hard work to land a job or reengineer a career. Whether you’re looking to ramp up your search or help in creating your next chapter, CTC can help you!

Smart Support for Self-Directed Job Search and Ongoing Career Management

CTC supports professionals at all levels and in all sectors build the skills for job search and ongoing career management. Learn what works in today’s job market – here’s how to get started.

  1. Peruse our website, especially our services, to see if CTC would serve your needs. Check the hours and fees to confirm that youyr schedule permits participation. CTC clients clarify options, create a search project plan, write resumes, related communications and execute all activities and outreach necessary to achieve success. We provide help and guidance but are not a job placement or vocational training agency.
  2. Attend a CTC Information Session to learn about the programs, services and resources we offer. Attendance is required for membership but sessions are offered to the public at no charge or obligation. Space is limited and sessions fill quickly. See the Calendar on this website for session dates and registration instructions. You must pre-register to attend.

    In addition to online registration, you must also call CTC at 312-906-9908 to confirm your participation. We're happy to answer initial questions about CTC, our service mission and distinction.

  3. After registering for an information session, you are welcome to attend any "Open to the public" programs, including Monday Programs at St. Chrysostom’s. See the Calendar for programs and details. Please note that programs that are open to the public will state this in the description. Also, download the “Job Search Planning Tools” to review and organize activities essential to success.
