Objectives:

  1. To provide CTC clients the opportunity for self-discovery that serves decision-making and job search/career transition success
  2. To enhance one-on-one coaching to guide/facilitate client understanding, resolution and confidence through the career search process.
CATEGORIES OF ASSESSMENTS PURPOSE COST TO PARTICIPANT
Career Interests:
Strong Interest Inventory

The Strong Interest Inventory® provides research-validated insights to help clients in their search for a rich, fulfilling career. Strong assessment identifies:

  • General Occupational Themes to map broad interest patterns to clients’ personalities and preferred work environments (corresponding to Holland’s RIASEC theory).
  • Basic Interest Scales for specific information about areas of interest, and
  • Occupational Scales relating your interest patterns to those of satisfied workers within various occupations.

 

Strong = $50

Enhanced Strong Interpretation/Strong-Plus package of additional assessments (delivered in three one-on-one sessions, tailored to clients’ individual areas of interest and utilization) The “Strong Plus” Assessment provides clients with an enhanced, individualized interpretation of the Strong Interest Inventory enriched by exploration of their work values, career interests, and life-transition priorities. The Strong-Plus assessment helps clients improve and focus their job-search/career-exploration efforts and gives them self-insights through which they can amplify the effectiveness of their work at CTC.

Strong-Plus = $75*
(*requires that client first take the Strong Vocational Interest Inventory workshop; $75 is the additional charge for the three one-on-one sessions and customized package of assessments)

Professional Effectiveness Through Transition and in the Workplace:

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Assessment and Workshop

MBTI Part II explores how each person expresses their personality type uniquely and individually, providing participants deeper self-awareness: to be able to make choices about work and work environments, about styles of communication and relationships with others; and about ability to navigate change, conflict and decision-making. MBTI = $75
