invites you to put aside the resume and job boards in order to
explore the opportunities as well as the confusion, outrage and
soul-searching that can take place at a time of transition.
Finding Work Without Losing
Heart is a unique two-day retreat that benefits persons of all
ages, faiths, and work experience. Participants come to understand
stages of transition, examining the spiritual and emotional stages
of work and change. For more than a decade, Finding Work
Without Losing Heart has helped thousands in their
search for meaningful work.

Reservation
and Cost
The fee
for the retreat is held at $95, thanks to the generous
contribution of our corporate sponsor. For those who
find this beyond their means - we also offer an
intermediate fee of $50, and a minimum fee of $15. To

Retreat
facilitator, Al Gustafson, the retreat team
and speakers are seasoned professionals who have
made job or career transitions. Al Gustafson has
worked at Crossroads Center at Old St. Patrick’s
Church in Chicago since 1993. He is a founder and
past president of Career Transitions Center of
Chicago. Al is a frequent retreat leader and a
spiritual director. He holds degrees in
accounting, ethics and spirituality.
